On Friday, 4 October 2024, the fourth year of the commemoration of Master Sergeant Dusan Fatrsík took place at the small calibre shooting range of the 5th Special Forces Regiment in Žilina. The memorial is organised in memory of our friend, brother in arms - Dušan. On Friday, 27 competitors came to honour his memory, including 7 members from the United States of America.
      The competition was exciting and full of exceptional performances. After a hard-fought competition, the winner was a member of the Intelligence Support Company, who demonstrated outstanding marksmanship and deservedly took home the first prize.
      The Memorial of Master Sergeant Major Dusan Fatrsík is an important event that not only promotes marksmanship, but also strengthens relationships and shows younger colleagues the importance of maintaining traditions. This year's event once again confirmed the high level of competition and the friendly atmosphere among the participants.
      We look forward to the next edition and hope that it will be at least as successful as this one.
